Mark Anthony......was the name he gave me when he introduced himself.

I met this man, who said his name was Mark Anthony, at Olan Montogomery's 2007 show at the Ward -Nasse Gallery on Prince Street in New York City.

Mr. Anthony claimed to be a well known graffiti artist. I had never heard of him, but I am not knowledgable about graffiti artist.

Mr. Anthony was quite a character and a colorful addition to the crowd which visited the show that evening. I called him " Mr. Cool "...He seemed pleased with his new name.

My Favorite Photograph.......Santa Fe,New Mexico

During the first years of my visits to Santa Fe, when I was trying to decide whether or not my heart would feel happy in " The City Different", I rented a charming casita on Romero Street.....just a block or so off of the Railyard District.

Next door to the casita was a very attractive house which was owned by some folks from the state of New York.

One August day, I decided to capture the neighbors' beautiful Holly Hawks with my Canon. I made a number of shots but feel like this particular frame was my best effort.

In order to get this shot, I had to get down on the sidewalk....literally. My getting up afterwards must have been quite a sight. And yes....the sky and the gate were really the same shade of sapphire blue that day.

I feel so blessed when I am in Santa Fe. There is just something about those skies which makes my soul feel at home....at last.

It is difficult to keep my eyes on the "business at hand" when I am driving on I-25 in Northern New Mexico, because the views on either side of the highway are so outstanding. Out of every corner of my eyes, I see the beauty of nature and the wonder of His creation.

Flowers in the Santa Fe Farmer's Market

When I am looking at this image, I'm so thankful that I can see color.....and feel the rush which nature brings ...with the fragrance of fresh-cut Summer flowers.
